C.P.D. consists of three full-time certified law enforcement officers and five part-time certified law enforcement officers. C.P.D is also in the process of forming a Reserve Officer Program and plans initially 
to have twelve reserve officers. C.P.D. is 
equipped with five marked units and two unmarked units.  
Chatom Police officers are highly visible in their 
community and are actively involved in coaching, 
mentoring, and teaching others. Our ultimate goal is 
to have a drug-free and violence free community.

C.V.F.D. consists of 17 devoted firemen. The fire department currently owns 3 fire engines and 1 rescue vehicle.
